Deliveries & crane

Deliveries and crane lifts at Filipstadkaia

Heavy equipment and boats that cannot be driven into Aker Brygge are transported via Filipstadkaia. Here you will find everything about delivery, crane lifts, address, and contact details.

Deliveries from Filipstadkaia

All equipment to be transported by boat must be securely packed on pallets or in boxes that are easy to handle.

Packages must be marked clearly with the exhibitor name and contact person. We cannot be held responsible for delivery of equipment that is not adequately labelled. The exhibitor or a representative must be present at Aker Brygge to receive the equipment and transport it to the tent or stand.

Do you need forklift lifting of packages, this must be ordered through Thomas.

Boat transport from Filipstadkaia must be arranged with Thomas. The price for return transport is kr 5 000,– eks. mva.

Delivery 25. august Transported by boat on Wednesday 26 August at approx. 12:00
Collection 31. august Goods must be collected on this day

Crane lifting of boat

NB. Crane lifts must be arranged and booked in advance through Thomas — whether you are bringing your own crane truck or renting a crane lift through NORBOAT.

Crane lifting of boats is available from Filipstadkaia. The barrier into the quay opens at 07.00 and closes at 18.00. Arrival and timing must be confirmed in advance with Thomas.

Crane launching of boat takes place on the following dates (by prior arrangement and booking):

In the water 25. & 26. aug
Out of the water 31. august
Price: NOK 3,750 excl. VAT per commenced hour

Invoiced by NORBOAT.

Exhibitors must ensure that carriers do not arrive at Filipstad before they have an agreed unloading time — changes on land have meant that trucks cannot be parked overnight.

Please be considerate of Telebryggen's staff while they are setting up the docks.

Practical info

Technical information

Mooring, tent dimensions, power, Wi-Fi, waste, and duty of care — everything you need to know before setting up your stand.

Mooring

There is a absolute prohibition on anchoring strict no-anchoring rule throughout the entire area.

We encourage all exhibitors to bring sufficient rope to moor with spring lines and to securely anchor boats to each other and to outriggers.

See clause 6 of the exhibition terms and conditions.

Tents

The tents provided are white top tents from O.B. Wiik with dimensions 3 × 5 meter.

Branding materials should be slightly smaller than the stated dimensions — e.g. 5–10 cm smaller — so the material can be pulled taut.

Hanging display materials

If you need hanging hooks inside the tent, these must be ordered at the time of registration.

Dimensions per tent

Ceiling height at edge
2,20 m
Ceiling height at centre
2,84 m
Short walls (H × W)
2,14 × 2,90 m
Long walls (H × W)
2,14 × 4,90 m

At the marina

Wi-Fi

Wireless network connected to Aker Brygge Marina. Coverage may be limited in some areas. Contact the organiser's office for the password.

Water and power

Power is included. The marina has limited power capacity — bring extension cords suitable for outdoor use. Fresh water is available at all docks.

Waste

Please help us keep Aker Brygge Marina clean — before, during, and after the show.

Duty of care

Exhibitors are obliged to exercise caution to prevent accidents and damage that may arise in connection with their participation in the show. Exhibitors are also obliged to treat docks, mooring berths, tent stands, and land areas with care. Adequate mooring equipment must accompany each exhibitor boat.

Anchoring is strictly prohibited throughout the entire marina. Any use beyond these regulations is the exhibitor's own responsibility. When anchoring or mooring, the skipper/exhibitor must — regardless of the above — exercise particular care, and all anchoring/mooring is done at the skipper's/exhibitor's own risk.

The exhibitor is liable to the organiser for damage and accidents caused by themselves or their contractors.

We generally encourage everyone to show consideration for fellow exhibitors and visitors, and to follow the applicable rules. In this way, everyone helps make Båter i Sjøen a great event for both exhibitors and visitors.

Compliments of Aker Brygge Marina

Exhibitor party Thursday 27 August

After the first day of the fair, we invite all exhibitors to an exhibitor party on the quay — a great opportunity to unwind and mingle with the rest of the industry.

The party is hosted by Aker Brygge Marina, who greatly appreciate that the fair is held at their marina every year. With tighter budgets across the industry, they hope this makes for a welcome contribution to a social evening — the party is therefore free of charge for all exhibitors.

Food and drinks are served on the quay, and you can enjoy the evening aboard «Skjærhalden», which is berthed at the quay throughout the event.

Sign up for the exhibitor party

The party ticket includes

  • Tapas
  • One glass of wine or beer
